About Me
I am a blue collar skilled laborer. I have held various titles throughout my career from apprentice to journeyman to foreman. I have always had a bit of a passion for computers and Internet. My wife jokes that I am the handiest computer nerd she knows (I think I might be the only computer nerd she knows). I hope that says more about computer nerds than my handiness.

This website has been a dream of mine for years. It is an attempt to put on the web my knowledge and years of experience. I hope that many people find it many things: informative, insightful, helpful useful, and passionate.

I am not available for hire as I am retired. I make every attempt to ensure my posts are accurate and correct, but I am not responsible for any do it yourself failures even if they result from following these posts. I highly recommend skilled labor and before undertaking any home construction or repair please consider your local union plumber, carpenter, electrician, painter, or general contractor.

When appropriate I will also be exploring using eco friendly energy efficient materials and techniques.
