Spring & C-Clamps Clamps & Vises Hand Tools Tools Home Improvement
Spring & C-clamps are one of the most common types of clamps used to hold things together. Like the F-clamp, spring & C-clamps get their name from its shape. The part that actually hold the items together looks like a C. The lower part of the C has a bolt through it that you can move up or down to make the spring & C-clamps wider or tighter. Sometimes, spring & C-clamps are also referred to as G-clamps because the bolt that locks the movable part of the clamp into place makes it look more like a G than a C.Discount & Bargain
To use spring & C-clamps, all you have to do is put an object between the movable bolt and the top of the clamp and then tighten the bolt until it holds the object firmly in place. Spring & C-clamps can be used in a variety of things, but they are most often used in woodworking and welding. In woodworking, special care has to be taken with spring & C-clamps because the clamp can actually make indentions in the wood. To avoid this, woodworkers usually put a piece of scrap wood against both sides of the spring & C-clamp and then place the other wood between these scraps.
If you’re looking for a good variety of spring & C-clamps to choose from, check out our website. We offer a large number of spring & C-clamps at very affordable prices. Whether you need them for wood, welding, or some other activity, you’ll find the spring & C-clamps you need.
